Obstacle course races are currently one of the fastest growing adventure sports in the world! On Saturday 7 October you can also be part of this adventure. This year Actionman kicks off at ATKV Klein-Kariba and intends to provide endless fun and entertainment for the whole family. Young and old are welcome to be part of this race.
Participants can choose between a 5 km and a 10 km race. The 5 km race has nine obstacles and there is no time limit. In the 10 km race participants must complete sixteen obstacles within a certain time.

Entry fees are as follows:
- 5 km race for persons under 18 years at R150 per person.
- 5 km race for persons above 18 years at R250 per person.
- 5 km race for a team of 4 persons at R880 per team.
- 10 km race (includes a compulsory time disc) at R350 per person.
The public can obtain free entry to attend the Actionman and to come and support the participants. “We invite all adventure-seekers, young and old, big and small, mom, dad and all siblings to participate in the Actionman challenge on Saturday and to make it a fun day for the whole family at ATKV Klein-Kariba,” said Riaan Maritz, marketing manager at the resort.
The first group of participants in the 10 km obstacle race already starts at 07:00 on Saturday morning. Thereafter a next group starts every 10 minutes. The participants in the 5 km race starts at 11:30.
There will be various foodstalls and a beer tent where each and everyone can relax for the day. For the children there will be entertainment, games, jumping castles as well as an obstacle course. Free parking will be available.
